She was the first woman to graduate from Hanover College after full admission was given to women in 1881; however, women had been attending classes at the college since 1869. She served as a missionary in Japan and later Hawaii. Writing on back reads "Calla J. Harrison," "Delta Gamma," "Graduate 1883, First Woman Grad. of Hanover Col," and "From the Keepsakes of Margaret Emma Ryker, Grad Class of 1886 (Mrs. Thos. M. Macdonnell)."

Photograph of Chain Mill Falls frozen, both the falls and water around the chain. Named for the remains of an old flour or grist mill. It was started by two brothers named Gordon in the early-to-mid 1800's. The chain mechanism that was used to pull up water to run the grinding machinery remained long after the mill. Two men stand at the bottom of the falls. Located south of Hanover, Jefferson County, Indiana. Writing on back reads "Chain Mill Falls." Marian West was a barber and photographer from Madison, Indiana.
Portrait of Charles M. Carson, wearing a suit jacket, a white collared shirt, and a black bow tie. He was born in Jennings County, Indiana, on 30 December 1874. After graduating from Hanover, he taught in Lebanon, Indiana, from 1896-1899, and then traveled to Lewistown, Idaho, where he taught from 1899-1906. He taught in Los Angeles, California, from 1906-1908, and died in Phoenix, Arizona on 8 March 1909.

Portrait of Charles DeGraff Billings, wearing a graduation cap and gown. He was born in Rockford, Indiana, on 1 February 1874. During his years as a student at Hanover College, he was a member of Beta Theta Pi. He graduated in 1898 and became the president of the First National Bank of Seymour, Indiana, for 22 years. He died in Seymour on 18 December 1936.
